Robert P. Landry

Auburn-Robert “Bob” P. Landry, 59, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 9, in his home.  

Robert was born on October 20, 1954 in Lewiston, the son of Roger and Madeleine (Moreau) Landry. He grew up in Lewiston and attended local schools. He also attended CMTVI in Auburn, where he studied Industrial, Commercial and Residential Electricity. He worked at Bath Iron Works as a Marine Electrician for 15 years (1980-1985 and 1989-1999). He was a member of the BIW Water Rescue Team and volunteer fire department. He also worked as a property manager for several companies throughout Maine. He was a skilled carpenter, a handyman, a jack-of-all-trades.  

He liked to spend his time sailing and going for a ride. He loved to listen to the sounds of the ocean, and he found comfort and happiness in the sea.  

He is predeceased in death by his parents, Roger and Madeleine Landry. He leaves behind two daughters, Elizabeth Elliott and her husband Chris, of Winterport, and Jennifer Lubliner and her husband Chuckie, of Ronkonkoma, NY; two granddaughters Addison and Mackenzie Elliott; his brother and his wife, Ron and Patty Landry of Turner; and two nieces.
